I’ve been known to overindulge from time to time. If you follow me on Instagram, you know we went on an epic pub crawl on Saturday. It was outrageously fun, but Sunday was pretty much a waste. When I’m hungover, I want something greasy and carby, and perhaps a bit over the top. Geoff’s go to hang over food is a Sausage McMuffin and some Funyuns. Just in case you have the wherewithal to cook actual food the next day, may I suggest these totally awesome recipes to help you make it through the hard times.
There’s nothing like waking up to a Cholesterol Sandwich. Crispy bacon, drippy fried egg, gooey cheese on mayo-covered toast. It heals anything.
I could eat a bucketful of Bacon Carbonara. It’s basically breakfast pasta. It’s completely awesome.
In case you’re a veggie only kinda kid, there’s Lemon Linguine. It’s a carb lover’s dream.
All my husband ever really wants from life is a Full English Breakfast, especially on a Sunday morning.
Sloppy Joe Casserole is pure comfort. I’m not above just eating a whole tube of crescent rolls, but at least this poses as a legitimate dinner.
Any sausage rolls you can get your hands on should make you feel better, but if they’re Fancy Pants Sausage Rolls with Ham and Cheddar, all the better for you.
Mini Ham and Cheese Sandwiches are small so you can eat six of them. I think that’s how it works.
If someone suggests stopping off for food on the way home from a night out, pancakes are always my pick. Sugar and carbs. That’s all that matters. Making your own Buttermilk Pancakes also does the trick.
Fast food always sounds awesome when I’m hung over. Fast food made at home means I don’t have to put on pants. That’s why you should make your own Frito Chili Cheese Wrap.
When I’m hung over, I need need need need need chocolate. These White Chocolate Chip Brownies are ridiculous. Why aren’t I eating these every day ever?
They say all things in moderation, even moderation. Let go from time to time. Over-indulge. Laugh too loudly. Then eat some great food. It’s gonna be awesome.
