You may still have holiday guests hanging around. You may be planning a fabulous brunch this weekend. You may need something to sip on New Year’s Eve. Apple Brandy Punch is the answer to all of your problems.

Sometimes you want to take your time and spend the entire day feasting. Sometimes you want to be cheap and not spend a ton of money on liquor. Sometimes you want to make the drinks all at once and be done with it. That’s why this punch is so great. It’s mostly juice with just a splash of brandy. You could amp it up with some vodka or a heavier hand with the brandy if you like, or you can take it easy and just keep drinking this all day long.

Sparkling apple cider, apple juice, pineapple juice, and brandy all get poured in a zip top bag, then tossed in the freezer. You can leave it in there for an hour or overnight. Then you just let it thaw enough to break into big chunks, pop it in your pitcher or punch bowl, maybe float some apple slices, and boom! You’re all sophisticated and fancy and you only spent ten bucks.

Apple brandy punch is a bit sweet, a bit sparkly, and a bit slushy. It’s all kinds of interesting. And make ahead drinks are completely stress free.

  1. I love the idea of freezing the juices then having them thaw as you serve the punch – that way ice cubes don’t water it down – brilliant! Thanks, Renee, for sharing this recipe.
