    17 Awesome Savory Breakfast Recipes

What's better than an indulgent weekend breakfast? Normally I go sweet, but today I'm sharing 17 Awesome Savory Breakfast Recipes, each one more delicious than the next. Let's do it.

I went back to work full-time this week. After more than four months of working from home, it's been a bit of a shock to the system. I think a lot of us had come unstuck in time a bit, as all the days started to blur into one. Now weekends are back, and I never knew how badly I needed them. Let's take things slow, treat ourselves right, and make something totally awesome for breakfast.

We've got bacon, sausage, carbs, cheese and eggs galore. This round-up is all savory all the time. Okay, maybe a hint of sweetness here and there. Balance, am I right?

Breakfast Burgers | How to be Awesome on $20 a Day

Breakfast Burger - We might as well just start out completely over the top. I created this burger with leftover grilled burger patties from a cookout the night before. That makes them totally doable in the morning.

Savoury Sausage Bread Pudding | How to be Awesome on $20 a Day

Savoury Sausage Bread Pudding - This bread pudding is a great way to use up any stale bread that might be languishing from a meal earlier in the week. Plenty of sausage and cheese, too.

Egg & Mango Chutney Flatbread | How to Be Awesome on $20 a Day

Egg & Mango Chutney Flatbread - Make your own quick flatbread, top it with a yogurt, mango chutney, fresh chillies, and a couple of eggs. It's easy and awesome.

Turkish Eggs - This might be my favorite of all these recipes. Not that I don't love them all, but I always wish I was eating Turkish Eggs. There's a lot of dishes to do at the end, but it's all worth it for this spicy, creamy dish.

Sausage Egg & Cheese Biscuit with Apple Butter from Awesome on 20

Sausage Egg & Cheese Biscuit with Apple Butter - This biscuit sandwich is the real deal. That hint of sweetness from the apple butter takes it to a whole new level.

Breakfast Pot Pie | How to be Awesome on $20 a Day

Breakfast Pot Pie - I feel like I could stop at hash browns, and that should be enough to get you on board. But there's also ham, eggs, cheese, and flaky pastry. So good.

Breakfast Nachos | How to be Awesome on $20 a Day

Breakfast Nachos - Thin slice potatoes get loaded up with plenty of sausage, a spicy cheese sauce, and of course, a fried egg. It's an event.

Breakfast Pizza | How to be Awesome on $20 a Day

Breakfast Pizza - A puff pastry crust is topped with crispy potatoes, spicy sausage, and of course, eggs and cheese. This is highly requested at my house.

Spinach & Cheese Baked Eggs | How to Be Awesome on $20 a Day

Spinach & Cheese Baked Eggs - Okay, fine, we'll eat some vegetables. But there's also plenty of cheese and crispy herby breadcrumbs, so that makes it pretty awesome.

Herbed Biscuits & Creamy Sausage Gravy - It's a Southern classic for good reason. This version is a little bit extra, but also totally simple.
