This month can be tough. Between oppressive heat and back to school, it can be hard to love. Let's flip the switch and look for what was awesome in August.
Well, between watching the Olympics, going back to work, and getting called for jury duty, I have been suuuuuper boring this month. I usually transfer all the photos off my phone and share one with you in this post, but the only photo I had was one of my cat in a box on the kitchen table. Oof.
The most exciting thing to happen around here is that my husband scored a community garden plot at a place that had a 10 year waiting list. I guess we're proving that it really is who you know. Oops. I'm excited for him to grow me some witchy herbs now that we have some outdoor space. I'm gonna become an herbal healer someday. Probably. Maybe.
We also had our first guest on the podcast this month, and it was totally awesome. Be sure to check out The Magick Healing of Breathwork wherever you get your podcasts if you haven't listened already. And I hosted my first Instagram Live for the Patreon patrons. Subscribe if you want to check it out.
Awesome Internet Food
I probably never met a biscuit I didn't like, and these Sour Cream Biscuits from Grandbaby Cakes look absolutely outstanding.
A stuffed pretzel is always awesome, but a Chocolate Chip Cinnamon Sugar Stuffed Pretzel is beyond my wildest dreams.
Admit it, when you see these Small Batch Brownies you're thinking, yeah, I'm just going to eat all of those myself.
Your favorite recipes this month were a Rose Quartz Cocktail, a Full English Breakfast, and a Strawberry Soju Slushie. It's the variety that makes life beautiful.
You were also crazy for Recipes to Celebrate Lammas and loving a bit of Kitchen Magick. Welcome all ye witches who love junk food.
The secret to this whole internet thing is that by the time you read this, I will have spent a weekend in Liverpool meeting up with a friend for the Beatles festival, but I guess you'll just have to come back later to hear about that.
I'm wishing you some sweater weather and some pumpkin spices lattes this September. Thanks for being so awesome.
