Awesome in March

Awesome in March

March was actually pretty tough. We started off with a snow storm, got a dog, and haven’t seen the sun in Scotland since I don’t know when. Work has been absolutely ridiculous, and I’ve been feeling like a non-stop failure.

We got to make two trips down to England to visit family. I love a train journey, though they’re slightly less relaxing with a dog. I do love the change of scenery and the chance to get out of the city for a while when we’re down there. It’s also nice not have to make as many decisions or wash as many dishes. We finished the month with waffles and candied bacon at the new Tribeca in Merchant City, and it was absolutely lovely.

I’m thinking I definitely need to eat these Honey Cheddar Scones with Black Pepper. They look absolutely gorgeous.

This Lemon Sugar Cookie Crumb Pie is just pure genius. I have a feeling I won’t be able to share.

I lost it the first time I saw these Mini Swedish Meatballs with Mashed Potatoes. This photo makes me absolutely ravenous.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Gooey Butter Cake | How to be Awesome on $20 a Day

Some of your favorites this month were a buttery nipple milkshake, chocolate peanut butter gooey butter cake, and caramel butterscotch muffins. That’s my kind of sweet tooth.

We might make it above 10 degrees in the next week. Fingers crossed we’re diving into Spring any minute now. Love ya, kids.
