    Awesome in May

    Awesome in May

Hey there, kids. I'm still looking out for summer. We got a hint of it while we were in Berlin for four days, but Glasgow doesn't really seem to know what time of year it is.

The highlight of this month was definitely our trip to Germany. I learned that American food has much more in common with Germany that Britain. I saw and tasted a lot of familiar things over there. I didn't realize meat and potatoes could make me so happy. Germany didn't feel quite as foreign as other parts of the world that we've visited. It was new but somehow still familiar.

My favorite day in Germany was when we walked basically across the entire city following the path of the Berlin Wall. I remember when the Berlin Wall fell. It wasn't that long ago. This history was much easier to immerse yourself in than trying to go back five hundred years. It was exhausting but rewarding as well.

Here are some of the most delicious things I saw on the internet this month. This Cacio e Pepe Pie is my cheesy dream come true.

I really miss living around the corner from a Panda Express on night's when I can't bring myself to cook. I'm hoping this Copycat Panda Express Orange Chicken is as good as it looks.

This Funfetti Birthday Cake is bonkers, and I want to dive in.

Amaretto Sour | How to be Awesome on $20 a Day

Your favorite recipes this month were Passion Fruit Green Tea, Amaretto Sour, and Parmesan Fried Gnocchi. You're making thirsty and so happy.

In June we're excited to drink our way through the Women's World Cup and hope we can influence a couple more people to give women's sports the respect they deserve. It's gonna be awesome.
