This month somehow seemed to stretch on and on for ages while simultaneously being completely uneventful. We spent two of our weekends being "taught" how to ride mopeds by a pack of racist misogynists and one really nice guy which was cold and awful, but I'm now legal to ride a moped in this country. Our new moped is currently stuck in red tape land while we wait for the registration to be processed, but I'm pretty excited that my bus days will soon be over.
I watched some fireworks, failed to solve a murder mystery, and made a kick ass Thanksgiving dinner for friends and family. And we started celebrating my birthday weeks ago. Oh, and my husband took me to see the Bolshoi Ballet. It was in a movie theatre, but it was still so cool. I feel pretty damn loved.
There's so much good food on the internet leading up to Thanksgiving, that I hardly know where to begin. How about with these gorgeous Garlic & Herb Parker House Rolls? I mean come on!
These Cookie Butter Snickerdoodles are just ridiculous and I need at least twenty.
I think this Double Crust Pumpkin Chocolate Pie is pure genius.
December is going to be the greatest. May your days be merry and bright and so very awesome.
