Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 ounce brie cheese
  • 2 tablespoons blackberry jam
  • 1 tablespoon softened butter

All amounts are approximate. Just make a sandwich. 

Instructions

  1. Spread both pieces of bread with some blackberry jam. I do this relatively thinly, but do what you like. Then add enough pieces of cheese to cover one side of the bread and put the lid on your sandwich.
  2. Preheat a skillet over medium heat while you butter the outside of your top piece of bread. When the skillet is hot, place your sandwich, butter side down, in the skillet. Let it cook for 3-5 minutes while you butter the other piece of bread. When the first side is as brown as you like, flip your sandwich and let it cook on the other side for another 3-5 minutes.
  3. Remove to a plate and serve hot.
