    Buffalo Chicken Dip with text

Are you the kind of person who likes to host a party of be a party guest? I mean, a lot of us witches are people who like to stay cozy in our homes with our familiras, but when we do gather, the world tends to split into two camps. There are benefits to both, but kitchen witches tend to love to host, or at the very least, bring a dish.

The food we serve can really shift the vibration of a gathering, as you'll know whether you're new to witchcraft or not. Serve fancy canapes, and people feel like they should stand up straight and be sophisticated. Throw a gooey hot cheese dip in the middle of the table, and people feel like they can take their shoes off, let their hair down, and swear as much as they want.

What makes this Buffalo Chicken Dip so awesome?

This Buffalo Chicken Dip has a gooey cream cheese and cheddar base and is loaded with succulent chicken. Of course, the main star here is spicy buffalo sauce and it's best pal, blue cheese. The funky, spicy, creamy mash up is irresistible. I love it served with crunchy tortilla chips, but you could also put out celery sticks, bell pepper strips or other crunchy veg.

This would be the ideal game day party snack in my opinion, but you could serve it at any gathering. People would instantly crowd 'round to try to get their share and more. You could also be the hero who rocks up with the best dip ever by mixing everything ahead of time and heating in the oven when you arrive at the party. No matter the occasion, everyne will absolutely love this dip.

    Magical Properties of Cayenne

Cayenne peppers are what brings the heat to buffalo sauce, so their energy is abundant in this recipe. Like all chili peppers, cayenne brings big fire energy which is great for motivation and inspiration. With a big kick of heat, cayenne acts as spiritual TNT, blowing obstacles out of your path and opening roads to new opportunities. It can also be added to any spell if you want to speed up the results. It's very powerful, though, so a little bit goes a long way.

    Ingredients

Here's everything you'll need to make this dish. The full details are in the recipe card below.

    • Chicken - You want your chicken pre-cooked for this recipe. I like chicken breast, but use your favorite part of the chicken.
    • Cream cheese - Room temp cream cheese is easiest to work with.
    • Blue cheese dressing - or ranch if you prefer
    • Buffalo sauce
    • Grated cheddar cheese - Use orange cheese if you want your dip to have a more vibrant color.
    • Black pepper
    • Blue cheese - crumbled

Tips for making Buffalo Chicken Dip

This is very much a case of smooshing a bunch of things together in a bowl. You'll add all your ingredients, except the crumbled blue cheese, to a big mixing bowl, then use a spoon or rubber spatula to stir, smash, and squish them together into a nicely combined concoction. Then transfer that to an oven-safe dish for baking.

Bake it all in the oven until it's gooey and bubbling. As soon as it's out of the oven, sprinkle your blue cheese crumbles over the top. Then comes the hardest part. Let it cool for at least 10 minutes so you don't burn your mout on molten cheese. Serve this dip with your favorite crunchy thing.

You could also make this in a slow cooker if you want to keep it warm for a long period of time. Honestly, it probably won't last that long.
