Ingredients
Scale
6 slices of bacon
1/4 brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 F (160 C). Line a baking sheet with foil and then top it with a metal rack.
On a plate or baking dish or anything wide and flat, combine the brown sugar and cayenne and shake it out into a thin layer across the plate.
Press both sides of each slice of bacon into the brown sugar mixture, then lay your bacon out on the rack. If you have any left over sugar, you can sprinkle it on top of the bacon before putting it in the oven.
Cook your bacon in the oven for probably at least 25 minutes. It could take up to 40 depending on how crispy you like your bacon.
Remove bacon from the oven and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes before serving. This is awesome cold as well.
Notes
It's obviously totally easy to to multiply this recipe. You wouldn't necessarily need twice as much sugar and spice for twice as much bacon. Measurements don't even matter that much. Just eyeball it and have fun.
