This Creamy Lemon Chicken Pasta is both bright and deeply savoury. Made with seasoned sauteed chicken, it's easy enough for a week night dinner and memorable enough for a special occasion.
I absolutely love everything about lemons. The color, the scent, and of course, that tart flavor that wakes up your whole body. A bowl of fresh lemons on a countertop brightens an entire kitchen. They put you in mind of war Mediterranean locales, of sun and sea and relaxation.
And that's how kitchen magick works most of the time. Sure, you can make it more complicated if you like, and truly if it feels good, you definitely should. But also, you can just shift the vibration of your home and of your body with one simple ingredient that simply makes you feel a certain way. Follow your intuition and you can't go wrong.
What makes this Creamy Lemon Chicken Pasta so awesome?
This Creamy Lemon Chicken Pasta is made with well-seasoned sauteed chicken breast. It's quick-cooking and so flavorful. And when it's paired with tender pasta coated in a creamy lemon sauce, it's just as good as anything you'd get from a restaurant. I love this sauce because it has the brightness of lemon but it's also deeply savoury, which makes it so cravable.
This dish is so simple, you could easily make it on a weeknight for a simple delicious dinner. You could even cook the chicken ahead of time to make it easier on you. But it's delicious simplicity also makes it awesome for date night or for dinner with friends. Anybody would be happy to eat this.
Magical Properties of Chicken
Lemons are deeply magical, but chicken also has its own metaphysical properties that you can use in your kitchen witchcraft. Ruled by fire and the sun, chicken can be used to increase personal energy. It also has healing properties as anyone who's ever craved chicken soup when they're sick can tell you. As one of the most acccessible domesticated animals, various parts of the chicken have also been used in divination for centures.

Tips for making Creamy Lemon Chicken Pasta
We're going to start by splitting our chicken breasts in half lengthwise to help them cook faster. If you prefer not to have to cut your chicken when its mixed with the pasta, you could also just chop it all into bite-size pieces. Then season it well and sautee it in butter until it's cooked through. Set this aside to serve on top of a bed of pasta. You could also make the chicken ahead and reheat it when you're ready to serve your pasta.
The pasta is super simple, but because its cream-based, it doesn't reheat very well. I definitely recommend making just as much pasta and sauce as you'll actually eat in one meal. Obviously, cook your pasta until al dente. You'll want to reserve some of the starchy pasta water in case you need to thin out the sauce.
For the sauce, you'll melt butter and add in garlic powder, salt, pepper, lemon zest and lemon juice. Stir that all together until it's fragrant. Then stir in the cream and Parmesan. If you think it needs thinning out, also stir in a few tablespoons of your pasta water until you reach your desired consistency. Let it all simmer together for a few minutes.
Then when your pasta is ready, toss it together with the sauce. Serve up the pasta with a your halved chicken breast and have an awesome dinner.
I can't wait for you to taste the magic of this Creamy Lemon Chicken Pasta. It's absolutely awesome.

Notes
You can make the chicken ahead of time, but the cream based pasta sauce does not reheat well, so make the pasta fresh.
