Episode 59 - Lughnasadh | The How to Be Awesome Podcast

We're talking all about Lughnasadh this week on The How to Be Awesome Podcast. What's the significance of this turn in the Wheel of the Year. I'll give you a hint. It involves baking fresh bread. I'm in.

We proudly host our podcast with Buzzsprout.

Louise is eating ridiculously awesome prawns from a local Japanese restaurant, and Renee is experiementing with queso and making Milky Way Ice Cream for real.

Then we're talking about the wheel of th year sabbat, Lughnasadh or Lammas. It's all about the bread. This is a day to give thanks and celebrate what we've harvested and what nature has provided. We give a bit of background, correspondences, and plenty of ways to celebrate. And yes, it's mostly recipe ideas because Lughnasadh is delicious.

Then Louise is letting go of self-doubt, and Renee is cleaning out her closet to make it look more like that of a high priestess. Also, Renee is feeling awesomely rested while Louise is finding nurturing in nature.
