We're asking what is shadow work this week on The How to Be Awesome Podcast. What does it mean? Why should you do it? Let's get into it.
We proudly host our podcast with Buzzsprout.
Renee has a cold this week, but we're making her feel better by talking about the awesome food we've been eating. Louise made black pudding hash (a delicious recipe from the Awesome on 20 blog) that was delicious and super customisable. Renee is making us all drool talking about maple syrup with bacon.
Then we move on to our topic this week - shadow work! We talk about what shadow work is, how you can do it and try to remove some of the scariness around facing your own shadow.
Then we move on to have a very raw and real conversation about bodies, exercise and struggling to love ourselves as we are. *If discussions about body image/weight loss are difficult for you, then skip from 37:27 - 48:35*
We finish up with what's making us feel awesome this week. Louise is enjoying making some genuine human connections and Renee is looking forward to getting back into the swing of things after her vacation.

After hearing your heartfelt sadness about your current weight, I spent the day meditating about reaching out to you. I've created a way of life based on the wheel of the year. Currently we are in the "Tricking the Crone" season. This plan could take off 15 pounds by American Thanksgiving. Contact me if you would like to hear about it. I would love to share my eccentric little theory

Thanks so much for reaching out. I'll take a look.

Well I invented it, and haven't published it yet. My husband is going to help me with making videos soon though, so I may end up on youtube.
