  • 4 slices of your favorite bread
  • 2-4 tablespoons fig jam
  • 4 slices prosciutto
  • 4 ounces brie
  • 2 tablespoons softened butter


  1. Put a skillet over medium heat. Add your prosciutto slices to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes per side to crisp, then transfer to a plate.
  2. Spread fig jam on each slice of bread, cover on side with slices of brie, and two pieces of prosciutto per sandwich. Put the lid on.
  3. Spread softened butter onto the outside of the top piece of bread for each sandwich, then place them, butter-side down, into the skillet. While the first side cooks, spread the butter onto the outside of the other piece of bread.
  4. Cook 3-5 minutes per side until it's as brown as you like. Serve hot.
