These gluten-free Flourless Brownies are chocolatey, gooey, and totally delish. They'll be the centerpiece of a truly awesome dessert when you add ice cream and hot chocolate sauce. You know you want some.

  • 225 grams dark chocolate, chopped
  • 225 grams unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 grams ground almonds


  1. Preheat your oven to 170 C (350 F) and dig out a 9x9 baking pan.
  2. Add your chocolate and butter to a medium saucepan. Melt these together over low heat, stirring frequently. Once melted, remove from heat.
  3. Stir vanilla, sugar, and salt into the chocolate mixture and leave this to cool for 15 minutes.
  4. Add eggs and ground almonds to your cooled chocolate mixture and whisk until thoroughly combined.
  5. Transfer your batter to your baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. It will be set on top but still gooey underneath. Let this cool completely before cutting into squares.
  6. Store leftovers in the fridge in an air-tight container.
