Ingredients

2 gammon or ham steaks
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4cup orange marmalade
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon hot English mustard
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4cup ginger ale
Instructions
Heat your olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook your gammon steaks approximately 3 minutes per side or until it turns light pink with hints of golden brown.
While your gammon is cooking, mix the remaining ingredients together in a small bowl. Don't worry if the marmalade is still chunky. It will melt in the pan.
When your gammon is cooked through, remove it to a plate and dispose of any fat and liquid that remains in the pan.
Put the pan back on the heat and add the glaze mixture. You can crank up the heat a bit to get the mixture bubbling. Allow it to bubble until it gets sticky, then add the gammon back into the pan. Give it a minute on each side. Plate your gammon steaks and pour over any remaining glaze.
