Ginger Iced Tea Lemonade is exactly what you need on a sunny day.

3 cups water, divided
1 cup sugar
2-inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced
2 black tea bags
2/3 cup lemon juice
1 cup soda water
In a small sauce pan, stir together one cup of water and the sugar. Add in the sliced ginger and place the pan over a low heat. Stir gently and heat until the sugar is completely dissolved. Set aside to cool.
Your other two cups of water are going to come from a recently boiled kettle. Guys, we’re just making tea. I put my boiled water into a large measuring cup with the two tea bags and steep it for about two minutes. Don’t leave it too long or your tea will be bitter. You know how you like it. Remove the tea bags and set aside to cool.
Once the hot stuff is no longer scorching, we can begin to combine everything into one beautiful drink. In a large pitcher or whatever you’d like to serve it from, add 1 cup (or up to 1-1/3 cups depending on how sweet you like it) of your ginger syrup, making sure to strain out the ginger as you add it in. Combine that with your tea, lemon juice, and soda water. Put this in the fridge to get it nice and cold.
Serve over ice. A lemon wedge and a sprig of mint never hurt anything if you want to get fancy.
