13 Herbs for Luck with a bed of clover

Is luck something that happens to us or something we create? If you believe there are no coincidences, then what seems like luck is really the accumulation of energy leading you to the right place at the right time so that you can receive your manifestation in an unexpected way.

On the other hand, I'm not foolish enough to think that I can rationally control everything, so I'm more than happy to call in a bit of good luck whenever I can get it. There's a quote that says something like luck is where preparation meets oportunity. So if we're ready for good things to happen to us, then sometimes all we need is a bit of luck to find that perfect opportunity.

    13 top herbs for luck

When searching for magical materials to help us feel more lucky, the four-leaf clover automatically springs to mind. That folk magic has permeated the popuar culture in an unmistakable way. There are dozens of lucky herbs and plants out there. As always, use your intuition. We often adopt a lucky charm because it reminds us of a past moment of success. Don't discount the powerful magic in that.

I've selected 13 herbs and botanicals that can bring you luck. These are all fairly common, so you should be able to access them easily. Be sure to consult a professional before ingesting any herbs that aren't part of an everyday diet.

    • Acorn - Only slightly easier to find than a four-leaf clover, a whole acorn contains the potential for massive abundance. You can also use it to call in money, growth, and protection.
    • Allspice - Many luck materials are also used to attract money, like allspice. You can also use it for healing and virility.
    • Almond - This delicious nut can also be used for regeneration, fertility, love, and money.
    • Chamomile - It's easy to feel lucky when you're totally relaxed. Another money herb, this plant can also call in regeneration, healing, protection, and peace.
    • Clover - Of course, four leaves are a good omen, but just seeing a field of clover gives us the hope of good luck. Known as a visionary herb, it can help you get clear on what you want.
    • Coconut - As long as one doesn't fall on your head, use it to attract luck, purification, and protection.
    • Corn - Associated with a bountiful harvest, corn calls in abundance.
    • Daffodil - This happy flower also brings love and fertility.
    • Goldenrod - Bringing a vibe of richness, this plant brings love and prosperity as well as luck.
    • Nutmeg - Another prosperity spice, nutmeg can be used for justice and virility.
    • Oregano - It's name means joy of the mountain. Use this herb to create healing, joy, and protection.
    • Poppy - The common field poppy can be used in spells for fertility, money, and love in addition to good luck.
    • Rose - This flower does it all in the metaphysical realm. Choose a color that feels lucky to you.

How to use your herbs for luck

Luck is usually something you want to bring with you, so portable spells are extra awesome here. If you want to call luck into your home, consider incorporating some of these plants into your garden or use them frequently in your kitchen.

    • Craft a fragrant charm bag to carry with you or keep in your car or home. Give it a shake and inhale it's lucky aroma whenever needed.
    • Blend a lucky tea to sip before a big day where you need things to go well.
    • Put dried herbs for luck in your shoe when visitng a casino.
    • Weave a lucky wreath or witch's ladder to keep on your front door.
    • Soak yourself in good luck vibes with a lucky herbal bath spell.
    • Pick a bouquet of lucky flowers and give them to someone who needs a bit of hope.

How else would you use your lucky herbs? Let me know in the comments.
