Merriest Christmas! Friends, we’ve been through a lot this year, and for some, it has literally been the worst year ever. We’ve all experienced grief of some sort. We’ve been asked to bear so much uncertainty. We need Christmas this year more than ever.
Our winter holidays like Yule, Christmas, and Hanukkah are all about finding hope in dark times. Whether that’s the literal darkness of the longest night of the year, the literal light of an oil lamp that kept burning, or the mythical hope of a savior born in a barn, this is the time to tap into our faith that things will get better.
This blog has always been about that hope. About focusing on what’s good in your life even when things seem to be falling apart. This is the perfect day to stop and look around you. Take a deep breath and literally count your blessings. If you woke up this morning, that is a privelege, an opportunity to take the first step toward changing your life. An opportunity to bring more love into the world. An opportunity to create the reality that you truly desire.
Merriest Christmas to you, my friend. I’m grateful for you. I’m honored that we’re moving through this world together. May your days be merry and bright. And totally awesome.
