No Churn Ice Cream is a simple way to treat yourself to something truly indulgent. With just two ingredients and endless customizations, this recipe is a spell for whatever good vibes you desire.

    No Churn Ice Cream

Just in case you've forgotten, you don't need to wait for someone else to treat you to something indulgent or luxurious. You don't need to hope that someone will bring you flowers or buy you jewelery. I'm here to tell you that you don't need to wait for anyone else to validate your worth. You can 100% do that for yourself. And you should.

If you want something, take some action, acknowledge your own power, and make it happen. Buy yourself flowers, chocolates, or even a diamond ring if you want one. Sure it's nice to be noticed by someone else. Getting gifts is awesome, and we all love a surprise. But wanting something and hoping someone else will just meet your needs for you is a recipe for disappointment. You're in control of your own happiness.

What makes No Churn Ice Cream so awesome?

And if what you want is really good homemade ice cream, I can help you make that happen for yourself. And you don't need any fancy machines. An electric mixer would be nice, but it's not necessary. For this No Churn Ice Cream, all you need is heavy or double cream and a can of condensed milk. Everything else is just you following your cravings and creativity.

This is rich and creamy and a bit sweeter than your average ice cream. It's high fat content is what makes it better than a lot of commercially available ice creams I've tried. If you're worried about calories, just keep the portions small. One scoop is going to bring you so much pleasure. It's all you need. Top this with your favorite sauce, sprinkles, nuts, fruit, whatever you've got. It'll be awesome.

    Magical Properties of Milk

Beyond the fact that human mothers and people who give birth have the power to create milk with their own bodies, this ingredient has been crucial to so many civilizations throughout history. A cow that stopped giving milk was often a catalyst for accusations of witchcraft in a village. Milk is a powerful substance representing fertility, abundance, and life itself.

Bathing in milk can bring prosperity. Milk and honey is a common offering to the fae. Call on it any time you want to encourage fertility, abundance, and mother energy.

Tips for making No Churn Ice Cream

This recipe could not be simpler. All you have to do is whip some heavy or double cream. You want it firm, but not too stiff, otherwise the condensed milk won't incorporate as smoothly. A medium, sort of floppy peak is ideal.

Then we're gonna fold in a can of sweetened condensed milk. Remember, this is the thick, sticky stuff, not evaporated milk. All your sweetness is coming from this, and you could always hold back a touch if you find it's too sweet for you. As gently as possible, fold in the condensed milk with a rubber spatula until combined. It doesn't have to be perfectly smooth. You definitely don't want to lose your air in the cream. If you want to fold in any other flavorings or mix-ins, now's the time. I simply added some vanilla extract this time, but this is the perfect palatte for whatever flavors you're craving.

Then all that's left to do is transfer it to a container and freeze it for eight hours. The waiting may be the hardest part. Let it sit out on the counter for about 10 minutes before scooping.

    FAQ

What can I mix in to my no churn ice cream?

Literally anything you want. Chocolate, caramel, fruit, cookies, nuts, sprinkles, whatever turns you on. My only suggestion would be to keep pieces of fruit small so they don't freeze too hard and break your teeth when you're trying to enjoy your ice cream.

    • Method: Mixed

    Ingredients

    Units Scale
    • 2 cups heavy cream or whipping cream
    • 1 14 can sweetened condensed milk
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract (optional)

    Instructions

    1. In a large mixing bowl, use the whisk attachment on your electric mixer to whip your cream to medium peaks. Just a bit droopy. If you're adding any flavorings like vanilla extract, mix it into the cream now.
    2. Get rid of your mixer and pour your sweetened condensed milk into the whipped cream. Gently fold your two ingredients together until combined. If you want to add any mix-ins, fold them in now.
    3. Pour your mixture into an air-tight container, put it in the freezer, and allow it to freeze for at least 8 hours.
