This Nutella Mug Cake is exactly what you need when you're having a chocolate attack. Ready in just a few minutes, this microwave cake is rich and indulgent with minimal effort.
Please tell me I'm not the only person in the world who has chocolate attacks. You know, those moments where you tear your house apart looking for some scrap of something chocolaty. You feel like you just can't live another minute without it. I now keep emergency chocolate in the house at all times for just this reason.
Given chocolate's magical properties of love and happiness, it's no wonder that we crave it. Chocolate gives me a sense of comfort and pleasure like few other things can. Wether it's stirring up passions in Chocolat of driving off depression in Harry Potter, chocolate is definitely a powerful magick.
What makes this Nutella Mug Cake so awesome?

Magical Properties of Hazelnuts
The hazelnuts that so beautifully compliment the chocolate in your Nutella bring a whole new level of magick to your kitchen spells. Ruled by the Sun and Mercury, hazelnut brings a shiny vibrant energy to your spells. Use them to call in wisdom, luck, fertility, and protection. Hazelnuts can also be used in wishing spells.

Tips for making Nutella Mug Cake
This is a simple dump and stir operation. Add your dry ingredients first and make sure they're well combined before adding in the wet ingredients and stirring until you have a smooth cake batter. Then use a rubber spatula to transfer your batter to a mug. Don't leave any of that goodness behind in the bowl.
I like to use a larger mug to make sure the cake doesn't rise over the top. Place it on a plate in the microwave just to be safe. You'll microwave it for about 2 minutes, then let it cool. It's perfectly normal for your cake to fall as it cools because the high heat of the microwave will make it rise much more dramatically than baking in the oven.
Top it with powdered sugar, another spoonful of Nutella, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Or all three. Totally up to you.
This Nutella Mug Cake is going to ensure that you're always feeling happy. No more chocolate emergencies. It's gonna be awesome.
