This Oatmeal Body Scrub with calming lavender will make your skin feel luxurious. It's the perfect shower spell for grounded abundance made with simple kitchen ingredients and essential oils.
My podcast co-host is a Taurus, and this fixed earth energy is very different from my fiery, quick-moving vibe. But this year, I'm making an effort to embrace Taurus energy and its Venus vibes. With Chiron in Taurus, this is a long-term challenge for me. Feeling safe enough to slow down and enjoy life's pleasures is something I really have to work at.
So I'm exploring spells for grounded abundance. I'm cultivating an energy of safety and security that cretes space for pleasure and indulgence. I'm working on being still and just enjoying myself. It sounds easy, but it's not. At least not for me. We're all on our own journey, and that's what makes the world so endlessly fascinating.
What makes this Oatmeal Body Scrub so awesome?
This Oatmeal Body Scrub is the perfect shower spell for grounded abundance. Rubbing th energy of oats and lavender right into your skin, letting it wash awayyour fears and create space for calm is exactly what I'm looking for to bring those Taurus vibes into my life.
I love that I already had all the ingredients I needed on hand to create this body scrub. Being made from organic materials, it doesn't last long, so you'll want to mix up this spell no more than a day or two before you intend to use it. But it's easy enough to mix up a small portion just for one use, and because its made with common kitchen ingredients and a few basic essential oils, you can easily mix up more whenever you need it.
Magical Properties of Lavender
Lavender is a powerhouse for calming energy. Used as a sleep aid, we all know it's ability to help us chill out. But its uses in witchcraft go much deeper. Call on these beautiful purple buds in spells for love, purification, peace, longevity, protection, and happiness. Lavender is also great for peaceful dream spells. Ingredients
Here's everything you'll need to make this scrub. The full details are in the recipe card below.
- Oats - As long as their plain oats, it doesn't really matter the type because we're going to grind them up.
- Dried lavender buds - optional but beautiful
- Carrier oil - Almond oil is great, but olive oil works well and is easier to access
- Lavender essential oil
- Chamomile essential oil
Tips for making Oatmeal Body Scrub
This is super simple to mix up, which is ideal because you'll want to make a fresh batch each time you use it. Damp oats can definitely harvest bacteria if left in your bathroom cupboard too long.
Add your oats and the dried lavender if you're using it to a mortar and pestle and grind into a coarse powder. If you don't have a mortar and pestle, you could also give them a spin in a food procesor or coffee/spice grinder.
In a separate small container, mix together the carrier oil and essential oils, then combine them with the oats to form a paste. You can add more oil or more oats depending on the consistency.
Then all that's left to do is scrub away your dead skin cells along with your fears and stagnant energy. The oats will exfoliate while the oils will nourish and hydrate your skin. Call in peace, calm, and grounded abundance as you let the water wash over you.
Be safe, witches. Always do a patch test to check for sensitivites if you're unsure about how you'll react to any of these ingredients.
If you're looking to bring more Taurus vibes into your life, this Oatmeal Body Scrub is the spell for you. It's gonna feel absolutely awesome.
