Pomegranate Margarita

Pomegranate Margaritas are my favorite. Pomegranate juice adds a delicious tartness and the color is stunning. Mix up a whole pitcher for your next party. And don't forget the sugar and salt rim.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • Spoonful of sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Ice
  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 3 ounces pomegranate juice

Instructions

  1. Get out two small plates and put a shallow layer of water in one and a spoonful of sugar and a pinch of salt in the other. Flip your glass over and dip the rim into the water, then into the sugar and salt so it sticks to the rim of the glass.
  2. Add ice to a cocktail shaker or a larger glass. Pour all the remaining ingredients over the ice and shake or stir. Pour the cocktail into your sugar and salt rimmed glass.

Notes

  • If you prefer a sweeter cocktail, choose a sweetened pomegranate juice blend rather than an unsweetened pure pomegranate juice.
  • If you want to make a pitcher, just multiply all the ingredients and keep the same ratios.
