Bring some feminine vibes to the party with some beautiful Raspberry Margaritas. Made with fresh fruit and tequila, these are sweet and tangy.
I am not and never have been a party girl. You will never catch me at a rave or a nightclub. A long, langorous, and delicious dinner, on the other hand, is right up my street. Sitting for hours enjoying food and drink with awesome humans is exactly the kind of thing that fills my cup.
The energy created by a group of people coming together around a table is so vibrant and creative. And if you throw in a bottle of wine or a pitcher of margaritas, things can only get more fun. The sharing of sustenance unlocks the sharing of emotions and ideas that lead to stronger bonds within communities. Dancing all night can probably do the same, but I'll opt for a dinner party every time.
What makes these Raspberry Margaritas so awesome?
If you offer me a raspberry margarita, I'll be your best friend. These are made with fresh raspberries, so they're particularly bright and zingy. The slight sourness of tequila and the sweet tart flavor of raspberries are the perfect compliment. Add in the acidic pop of citrus from lime and Triple Sec, plus a pinch of sugar, and you've got a beautifully balanced drink with a gorgeous color.
Because we're making these in a blender, it's just as easy to make eight margaritas as it is two. That means this is the perfect recipe for a small party. Mix up a big pitcher and keep on pouring. Just be sure to give your mixture a good stir each time. With the feminine energy of fresh berries, this would be perfect for a bachelorette weekend or girls night in as well.
Magical Properties of Tequila
Tequila is made from the blue agave cactus which takes ten to twenty five years to bloom. I think that makes this spirit perfect to aid in intentions that you want to grow consistently over a long period of time. Use it in spells for rejuvenation, love, and stepping into your power. In this particular recipe, the addition of raspberries will definitely increase the vibration of love and romance. (Source: Witchcraft Cocktails by Julia Halina Hadas)

Ingredients
Here's everything you'll need to make this drink. All the details are in the recipe card below.
- Tequila - whatever type and brand you prefer
- Triple Sec - or other orange liqueur
- Raspberries - frozen is great, but fresh berries will also work
- Limes
- Sugar - fine for the drink, coarse for the rim
- Salt - for the rim, so something coarse and flaky would be nice
Tips for making Raspberry Margaritas
Making this drink is ridiculously easy. Simply put all your ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Then strain out the mixture to remove the seeds. You can leave them in if you really want to, but I just find they're not that pleasant to drink. If you're only making a couple of drinks, pour them directly into glasses over ice. If you're making a larger quantity, pour your mixture into a pitcher with a long spoon so you can stir before pouring.
Do you prefer frozen margaritas? Mix up and strain your margaritas to get the seeds out, then add the mixture back into the blender with plentyof ice and blend again for more of a slushie type experience.
To rim your glasses, add a pinch of salt and a pinch of sugar to a small plate. I like the sweet and salty mix, but of course, adjust to your own taste. Then use a lime wedge to wet the rim of your glass, turn it upside down, and press that edge into the salt and sugar on your plate. Then carefully add your ice and margaritas to your glasses.
You can replace your Triple Sec with orange juice. In place of regular tequila you could, of course, simply opt for a non-alcoholic tequila. If that doesn't work for you, try replaing it with some kombucha which will give you that slightly sour flavor.
These Raspberry Margaritas are definitely awesome. I hope you share them with people who make you feel just as good.
