Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix plus whatever ingredients are called for on the box
  • 1 container vanilla frosting
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 12-24 mini peanut butter cups, optional

Instructions

  1. Prepare your cupcakes according to package instructions and cool completely.
  2. In a large mixing bowl,combine frosting and peanut butter. It goes more quickly if you use an electric mixer.
  3. Frost your cupcakes in your favorite way. This frosting will be very thick, so you can even use a cookie scoop and a fork to shape it like a little peanut butter cookie if you like. 
  4. You can also top each cupcake with mini peanut butter cup.
