This Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Chicken is ridiculously easy and so tasty. It's a busy weeknight lifesaver that will make dinner absolutely awesome.
When you think of a kitchen witch, you probably imagine someone who has hours to wander 'round her kitchen, lovingly preparing every meal from scratch. She uses all fresh, organic ingredients, maybe even grows lots of her own food. She always relaxed, moving at a leisurely pace as she weaves her magick into her food.
The reality is that most kitchen witches are busy, modern people with kids and/or jobs and all the other demands on our time and attention that the 21st century brings along with it. So our magical tools include things like frozen food, store bought ingredients, and modern appliances. Magick is about intention and energy, so even a "convenience" recipe can be witchcraft if it brings you the vibration of ease and pleasure in a hectic world.
What makes this Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Chicken so awesome?
Hands down the awesomeness comes in the ease. We're using just a few simple ingredients here, and lots of time to create tender, flavorful chicken. It's awesome on a brioche bun all on its own, but it would also make a tasty taco filling, a great add-in for mac and cheese, or even a protein bump for a salad.
And because it's made in the slow cooker, you barely have to think about it. Just dump some stuff in, go live your awesome life, and come back to a delicious dinner. Pair it with creamy coleslaw, baked beans, or roasted veg for a hearty meal.
Make it magical
It's not just the ingredients in our food that create magick. The vessels we use can also be called upon to shift our vibrations. A slow cooker is just another form of a cauldron. Pull out your slow cooker when life feels rushed and you'd like to create a more relaxed and spacious energy. You can even create a calming crystal grid around it as it cooks your food so that when you sit down to eat, you're feeling deeply relaxed.

Tips for making Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Chicken
This really could not be easier. Season your chicken with salt and pepper, and pop it into your slow cooker. Then pour over the barbecue sauce and water. Give it a quick stir, switch on your slow cooker, and get on with your life. Times will vary based on settings, but you've got a few hours to do your own thing.
When the chicken is cooked through, remove the chicken and shred it. You can do this with two forks by hand, or pop the chicken in your stand mixer with the paddle attachment. Turn it to the lowest setting and mix until the chicken is shredded. It will take less than a minute usually. Then just return your shredded chicken to the sauce, give it a stir, and serve it up.
Store leftovers in an air tight container in the fridge. They should keep for a few days, if you can keep your hands off it that long.
