This Spicy Alfredo Sauce adds a punch of heat to your favorite creamy pasta sauce. Bring the fire energy with a pinch of red chili flakes for a bit of excitement with your fettucine.

1-1/4cups or 300 ml heavy or double cream
1/4cup or 2ounces butter
1/4cup grated Parmesan cheese plus more for sprinkling
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
Add your heavy cream to a wide shallow pan and warm it over medium low heat, stirring occasionally. Add the butter, and whisk to combine as the butter melts. Let this simmer for about five minutes to thicken.
Stir in the cheese, followed by the oregano, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Once it's fully combined, taste for seasoning and adjust to your liking.
Serve with 8 ounces of cooked long pasta such as linguine or fettucine. Sprinkle with more grated Parmesan cheese if you like.
