Are you wondering what to eat in Pisces season? I've got 100 awesome recipes using Pisces, Jupiter, and water ruled foods, plus some delicious seasonal recipes for you to enjoy.
As Pisces season closes out the astrological year, many of us are seeing still seeing harsh weather and freezing temperatures in the Northern Hemisphere. Our ancestors would have seen food stores running low, and some cultures are fasting at this time of year. It's designed to be a religious practice, but I can't help but notice that those fasting seasons correspond to the tail end of winter when no new crops are growing.
Pisces energy is harmonious and emotional, associated with water, and the sea. This energy is all about imagination, art, and beauty. There's a dreamy, ethereal energy. It's a great time to keep warm and get creative. And I love to get creative in the kitchen.
Pisces Season Foods
Naturally, for Pisces season, you might want to celebrate all the delicious foods of the sea. Unfortunately, I'm not much of a fish and seafood person. In fact, we only eat fish maybe a few times a year, and other than putting some fish fingers in the oven, I never cook it. Fish that are in season right now include clams, halibut, lobster, and salmon.
But there are a few other foods corresponded with Pisces as well, and I truly enjoy eating them. They do tend to be watery foods, which makes perfect sense.

- Figs
- Lemon
- Raspberries
- Thyme
- Cucumber
- Pumpkin
- Lettuce

Jupiter is the traditional ruler of Pisces, and Neptune is a more modern correspondence. Both planets have expansive energy, but Neptune definitely lends itself to dreaminess. There's an unstable, ever-changing vibe with Neptune energy. But as it was discovered long after the ancients went around handing out planetary correspondences to everything, I've only found one ingredient for this planet so far, poppy seeds.
