In this White Russian Milkshake, my favorite cocktail gets mashed up with an awesome dessert. Blend Kahlua and vodka with some ice cream. It's awesome.
I'm sitting here next to the radiator in a hoody with a blanket covering my legs. I got rained on to and from work today. Scotland can be cruel like that. I won't be properly warm again until I go to bed, but I'm still bringing you this milkshake. That's how awesome it is. I would drink a White Russian Milkshake in a blizzard.
Did I mention in my Salted Caramel White Russians post that I absolutely hate all things coffee, except Kahlua? Did I possibly also mention that I've seen The Big Lebowski so many times that I sometimes don't even realize I'm quoting it anymore? It's now just part of my vocabulary. All of these things are true. My devotion to this drink is real.
How to make White Russian Milkshakes
Making a White Russian Milkshake really couldn't be simpler. Scoop some good vanilla ice cream into a blender. Add a shot of vodka, a shot of Kahlua, and a splash of milk. Switch on that blender and bring it all together into a frozen, creamy, boozy dream.
To make fancy chocolate drips, just get your favorite chocolate syrup, preferably in a squeeze bottle, and squeeze in a line of chocolate all the way around the inside of the glass, right at the top. Then just let gravity do the rest. It's not stricly necessary, but it's pretty fun.
You could also use vanilla vodka here if you have it. It's nice, but I wouldn't buy it just for this. Just giving you options, ya know.
I would put on three sweaters and a pair of wooly mittens in the dead of winter just to drink a White Russian Milkshake. I hope you make one soon. It's gonna be awesome.
